    Personalisation is relatively new, is not fully understood and is of interest to the public. It is a social care approach in which every person who receives support, whether provided by statutory services or self-funded, has choice and control.

    Mental health is high on the agenda of both Healthwatch North Somerset and Healthwatch England. The picture locally is not a pretty one, and as an organisation, Healthwatch North Somerset has received details of a number of issues from the public.
