Weston General Hospital is suffering under the effects of Norovirus, and two wards remain shut because an outbreak was discovered last week.

A third ward, Uphill, was also shut down but this has now been deep cleaned and has reopened for new admissions.

Berrow and Cheddar wards closed last Wednesday and no date has been given on when they will reopen.

Weston General Hospital is asking people to only come to the hospital if absolutely necessary and restrictions have been put in place.
