Your voice counts

As we near the end of our working year Healthwatch North Somerset are looking towards 2015-2016 and are seeking your views on what issues are important to you and what you consider we should concentrate our efforts on during the next year.

Last year we listened to what you had to say and our work has reflected this, you told us the most important thing to you was access to GP services and we have just completed a wide ranging survey as well as two other reports.  You told us you wanted us to focus on access to mental health services for young people; we held a public meeting and produced a report which was forwarded to the service providers.  You told us that discharge from hospital was important to you; we held a public meeting and gained information about first hand experiences and put these together in a report and as well as a special report on discharge for homeless people.   This is only a small part of the work we have done on your behalf to influence health and social care services in North Somerset.

Now we would like you to let us know what you would like us to focus on during the next year.  Your feedback, combined with the public feedback we have already received throughout the year, will be used to determine our work for the next year.

You can let us know by email: contact@healthwatchnorthsomerset.co.uk; by telephone: 01275 851400; by post: Healthwatch North Somerset, 3rd Floor, The Sion, Crown Glass Place, Nailsea BS48 1RB

If you would like to volunteer to work with us on gaining the views of the public on health and social care matters, or perhaps you would like to volunteer to work with us on research and projects please get in touch.
