Chief Executive to resign from Weston Area Health Trust

Weston Area Health NHS Trust has announced that its Chief Executive, Nick Wood will be leaving the Trust to join the Aneurin Bevan University Health Board in Wales as Chief Operating Officer.

On accepting his resignation, Peter Carr, Chairman of Weston Area Health NHS Trust said:

“Over the last two years Nick Wood has made significant improvements at Weston in the areas of quality, safety and the delivery of patient care. This performance is recognised at both local and national level. On behalf of the Board and all members of the Trust I would like to thank Nick for all his hard work and success at Weston and wish him well in his new role.”

“It is public knowledge that the Trust is in the process of being acquired by Taunton & Somerset NHS Foundation Trust. As such the arrangements for Nick’s replacement and leaving date are yet to be confirmed.”
