Action on Hearing Loss

St John Ambulance has set up the CPR Community Network to ensure that everyone has access to basic life support training in person, online or by using their Resource Hub to give you the confidence to respond in an emergency.

The North Somerset Deaf Awareness Partnership surveyed the d/Deaf community, asking which services are and are not deaf aware. Call centres and the Audiology Department at Weston General Hospital were among those that were found to be not deaf aware.

While most hearing people take daily communication for granted, there are barriers everywhere for Terry, who is profoundly deaf.
