What matters to you?

'What matters to you?' day on Wednesday 6th June 2018. It aims to encourage conversations between people who provide health and social care and the people, families and carers who receive that care.

The aim of the day is to:

  • encourage and support more conversations between people who provide health and social care and the individuals, families and carers who receive that care
  • shift the focus from ‘what is wrong with you’ to ‘what matters to you’.

This is an international campaign, which has also been taken up in Scotland for the last two years. In 2017, over 600 organisations took part, and the number is growing. Thanks to them, we are able to share stories of how the principles of ‘what matters to you’ are already being implemented. They have also generously agreed to share their resources with us.
