Next step in Healthy Weston consultation

There have been more than 2,300 responses to the Healthy Weston consultation which ended last month.
Next step in Healthy Weston consultation

The next step is for everything received through the consultation to be analysed by an independent agency. BNSSG says they will be drawing on this feedback to work closely with clinicians from across the system to propose a model of services for Weston General Hospital at its October 2019 Governing Body.

A spokesman for the group said: “The case for change for Weston General Hospital remains a priority for the Clinical Commissioning Group. Our vision for a hospital that is strong and focused at the heart of the community continues to bring our partners from across the region together and we will keep you informed of how this develops over the coming months.”

We welcomed the public to our AGM on October 29th with two speakers from Sirona and North Somerset Council’s Public Health department.
Sirona already runs the South Gloucestershire service and will cover Bristol and North Somerset too from April next year.
