As part of #BiVisibilityDay (September 23) the NHS is raising awareness of poor levels of mental health which exist among lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans (LGBT) people.

These poor levels of mental health have often been linked to experiences of homophobic and transphobic discrimination and bullying. It is suggesting therapy options to work through issues such as coping with people’s reactions and problems accepting your sexual orientation.
