Healthwatch North Somerset board chair, Georgie Bigg, wins surprise award for supporting NSCP’s community work
Georgie Bigg wins award for work with charity

NSCP held its eighth awards ceremony to celebrate the achievements of its staff at Winter Gardens, in Royal Parade, on Friday (October 10).

Georgie was asked to present the Community Impact Award which went to the Residential Home Support Team for their work improving training for care home staff, Rebekah Jeavons was runner up for going above and beyond to support homeless people in North Somerset.

After this presentation NSCP’s chief executive Judith Brown sprung a surprise and presented Georgie with an award for supporting the employee-owned social enterprise, since it separated from the NHS in 2011.
