How would you want to be supported by adult social care services?

We're looking to hear from people who are not currently receiving support from adult social care services. We'd like you to tell us what you know about social care and how you would like to be supported if and when needed. Your views will help North Somerset Council plan their future services.

Adult social care helps older people and those living with a disability, physical impairment or mental illness, and people who care for them to live independently, stay well and safe.

We would like to hear from:

  • Older adults aged over 60 years
  • Anyone over the age of 18 living with a disability, physical impairment or mental illness not receiving support from adult social care services.
  • People caring for someone and not receiving support in this role (unpaid carers).

You will be able to share your views at one of two focus groups we're running in November and December 2023. These will be run in the Weston, Worle, and Woodspring areas, and remotely on Zoom.

As a thank you for taking part, you'll receive a £20 high street shopping voucher.

If you would like to involved, please get in touch with Anna King, Engagement Officer, by emailing anna@healthwatchbristol.co.uk or calling 07821 860 517.
