Delays to get GP appointments

We collect information from the public about their experiences of local health and social care services. This information is shared with health and social care service providers, local commissioners and all other relevant bodies.

This report has been prompted by a number of statements made by the general public with regard to the delays experienced when trying to book appointments.    

Anecdotal comments have also been made regarding the impact of on-line access in that it has caused a reduction in the number of appointments available on the day.
