The Enter and View took place at the practice on January 29 when we heard about patients' experiences of accessing appointments using both online booking system askmyGP or over the phone. We also made observations about layout, parking and facilities as well as how information was displayed.
- The surgery increases the number of appointments available and extends the daytime calling hours to make getting through to a member of staff easier.
- Review askmyGP and communicate with patients how to make better use of it
- Make external and internal signs clearer so patients can find the surgery more easily and are clear on other help and support that is available, such as mental health services.
- More information needed on obtaining a hearing loop, drinking water, online services and how to make a complaint.
