The Care Quality Commission will be carrying out inspections in the following aspects of health and social care between April and June 2016.

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) inspections being undertaken by the Hospitals Directorate:

  • Acute Hospitals
  • Mental Health Services (MH)
  • Community Health Services (CHS)
  • Ambulance Services
  • Independent Health Care Providers
  • Substance Misuse Services (SMS)

Inspections being undertaken by the Primary Medical Services (PMS) Directorate:

  • GP Practices
  • GP Out of Hours
  • 111 Services

Inspections being undertaken by Adult Social Care (ASC) Directorate:

  • Community adult social care services
  • Residential adult social care service
  • Hospice services
