Stafford Place - Enter and view

We have published our latest report which details our visit to Stafford Place on March 28th. We have produced our Enter and View Report which details all our findings, observations and recommendations.

The Enter & View representatives made several observations about the building inside and out. These included

  • The building is a large Victorian Villa which is in need of repair
  • The waiting room had been partly partitioned off due to the poor state of repair.
  • The waiting room that is available to use has mould growing on the walls.
  • There was no parking or disabled parking
  • There is a ramp for wheelchair access to the building
  • No electronic check in an the doctors come out and call their patients personally
  • There were no hearing loop signs

It is important to note that the Practice Manager told us that they are urgently trying to close the building as it doesn't have the resources to update or redecorate the building. There were no patients present during our visit.

Taking all the information into account the Enter & View team felt that the surgery appeared to be unfit for patients.
